The aluminum king steps down

We have said goodbye to Klærke.
After 35 years at DAN-doors , he has retired, and it is very well deserved.
Klærke is a trained blacksmith and joined DAN-doors' karma department in 1990. He worked there for a few years before moving to the aluminum/cutting department, where for many years he has ensured that all aluminum parts have been produced correctly for every single order with a steady hand and precision. Now a well-deserved retirement awaits him, which in best Klærke style will be kick-started with a motorcycle trip to Germany.

As a colleague, we will miss Klærke and the spirit and commitment he brought to our community. Some people are generous with their energy and have found the key to making it grow by sharing it with others, and Klærke is one of them. He is a warm and friendly person and he has had a huge impact on our company culture, where the tone is friendly and we help each other. It's not something we take for granted, and we're grateful for our entire amazing team who come in every day with the same positive energy as Klærke.
An era is ending - but the baton has been passed on to Jonas, Klærke's son. Jonas is trained and subsequently employed in our purchasing department, so the journey continues.

Now we've sent Klærke senior on his way to a happy retirement with motorcycle rides, training and all the rest. He is lucky enough to be able to turn a deaf ear if he needs to sort through the news, so we have no doubt that he will continue to live by his life motto "Live while you do it" for many years to come.
Dear Klærke - thank you for the effort, humor and community - and have a great trip into retirement! We look forward to your visit - you know there's always coffee on the pot.
