Use smoke ventilation to fight the fire in its early stages. DAN-doors' specially developed smoke ventilation solutions for cold rooms are placed high on the wall, where they utilize the natural buoyancy of the smoke to direct the smoke out of the building.

The cold room doors are equipped with 150 mm fire-retardant insulation and heating cables in both the frame and door leaf that prevent the door from freezing, so they can be used in cold rooms with even very low temperatures. 

The doors are available with both horizontal and vertical operating principles.

Smoke ventilation doors are placed high on the wall and use the natural buoyancy of the smoke to direct the smoke out, creating a smoke-free layer that allows the fire to be fought at the earliest possible stage.

Smoke ventilation doors are equipped with 150 mm fire-retardant insulation, making them suitable for cold rooms, as their good insulating properties help minimize energy loss.
