Congratulations to Jonas

Two years ago, Jonas started as a trainee in our purchasing department. Two weeks ago, he became a trained purchasing assistant and we are lucky enough that he has agreed to become a permanent employee.

In the purchasing department, Jonas teams up with our Purchasing Manager, Peter Benner, and Jørn Rasmussen (better known as Ras). The three make an unbeatable team that complements each other across generations and seniority.

It is our purchasing department that ensures that we have materials at warehouse, so we are always able to deliver - also during periods when external factors affect the supply chain around the world.

Ras has been with DAN-doors for 31 years and knows all about our history and development. Peter Benner has shaped our purchasing and inventory strategies over the past 10 years as purchasing manager with his sharp analytical skills and understanding of the market, and with Jonas on the team we come full circle with the knowledge and energy he brings with him from his education. Together, they ensure that we are able to deliver at competitive prices, and they are responsible for ensuring that we can vouch for the materials we buy and the suppliers we work with.
Part of that process also involves assessing our suppliers through ESG lenses, and all our materials and components come from Europe and comply with European legislation.

Jonas is not the only 'Klærke-Olesen' in the company. His father Torben (known as Klærke) has been with DAN-doors for 35 years, so Jonas has absorbed our DNA with his mother's milk. We're super happy to keep Jonas on the team and expect that the next Klærke on the team will also celebrate more anniversaries with us 🙌
