DAN-doors has developed a new single-leaf hinged _EI260/ _EI290fire door for cold rooms. The fire door has been tested and approved by DBI - Danish Institute of Fire and Security Technology and is approved for up to 90 minutes, which is unique on the market.

Specially developed for cold rooms

The fire door is developed specifically for cold rooms. This means that it is insulated with 150 mm rock wool, which ensures extremely good insulation performance combined with high fire resistance. It is equipped with fire-approved TPE sealing strips on both the door leaf and the weather strip, providing a tight and effective seal that keeps the cold in and the fire out - even during daily use.

Built for daily operation in demanding environments

The door is designed with ease of use and durability in mind, so it works optimally even when used many times a day. Here are a few of the features that make it practical for everyday use:

• Lift-up hinges
  With lift-up hinges, the door leaf is lifted off the floor during opening for easy and smooth operation. The smooth opening protects both the sealing strips and the floor, which extends the lifetime and ensures that the door maintains its tight seal for many years. It also reduces the risk of the door settling or becoming difficult to maneuver.
  
  
• Self-closing function
  The self-closing function ensures that the door always closes correctly, maintaining both the fire and cold barrier, no matter how busy it is. The function reduces the risk of the door being left ajar by mistake, which can be critical in terms of fire safety, energy consumption and storage of temperature-sensitive goods.
  
  
• Fully functional as standard down to -30°C
  The door is made of 1.5 mm stainless steel and insulated with 150 mm rock wool. All materials and components are of very high quality and the door retains its insulation and fire resistance properties even in temperatures as low as -30°C. To protect the door from icing and condensation, there are built-in heating wires in the frame, door leaf and lock case. This ensures that the door retains its functionality throughout its lifetime.
  
  
• Very long lifetime and 2-year warranty
