All our fire protection products are certified to the strictest standards, so you can be confident that the fire door or fire curtain you buy from DAN-doors complies with current fire protection standards.

A fire door from DAN-doors is classified as either BS60 (DS-1052.2), EI230, EI260 or EI2120 (EN-16034-1) and therefore meets the most stringent requirements in fire protection with increased requirements for fire resistance.

Fire doors and fire protection doors

We offer both hinged fire doors and fire doors - also for chill and freeze. The doors are approved for cold rooms and supplied fire-retardant for freezer rooms. The fact that a door or sliding door is fire-retardant means that it requires final approval by a local fire authority, which with DAN-doors' solutions is usually achieved without any problems.

Which solution best suits your needs - fire door or hinged fire door - depends on the location of the fire door and what is most practical and aesthetic.

Our fire doors and fire protection doors are produced in several different finishes and can also be painted in specific RAL colours according to your wishes. The fire doors require virtually no (or minimal) maintenance, so you can concentrate on what's important to you.

Fire curtains have the advantage that they can be installed in places with very little space and integrated discreetly into the building's interior. Our fire curtains are delivered either EI, EW or E-certified in the number of minutes specified in the certification.

EI certified fire curtains

EI curtains are designed to provide the highest protection against fire and are a fully insulating fire screen with heat reduction on the opposite side. This fire curtain prevents the spread of fire between fire zones, building sections or floor sections, and is also suitable for protecting escape routes, as it has heat reduction on the opposite side, which allows passage, even close to the curtain window itself.

EW-certified fire curtains

EW curtains provide high protection against fire and are an effective fire protection with insulating protection and heat reduction on the opposite side. EW-certified fire curtains prevent the spread of fire between fire zones, building sections or floor sections and can be used to secure escape routes where passage is possible with a small distance to the curtain window itself.

E-certified fire curtains

E-curtains prevent the spread of fire between fire zones, building sections or floor sections. They are particularly suitable for securing areas that do not require personal protection, as the curtains can prevent fire spread for up to 240 minutes, but do not have heat reduction on the opposite side.

DAN-doors' fire curtains range from a certification of 30 minutes, to a classification as high as 240 minutes.

PROFILE DOORS FOR FIRE

The door and window sections of our profile doors consist of specially made steel profiles with a fire-resistant core. These profiles have been tested, approved and classified according to fire classes EI120, EI60, EI30 and E30 and E60, making this type of profile ideal for doors and windows in areas that need to be secured by fire.

The primary purpose of smoke ventilation is to protect people inside a burning building.

Smoke ventilation doors help reduce temperatures and improve the chances of people in the building escaping the fire as visibility improves. Smoke ventilation also protects against smoke inhalation.

In addition, the lower temperature will protect the building's supporting structures and reduce the risk of corrosion damage to fixtures and production equipment.
