With DAN-doors' BS60 fire doors you get a reliable and robust solution, which is approved for 60 minutes fire according to DS 1052-2.
Fire doors used primarily for personnel access are not yet covered by the European standard and may therefore still be supplied in accordance with the national standard DS 1052.2.
The doors are fitted as standard with labyrinth latches in R/S steel and tested with reference to Report No. F6933 and F7008, which declare the fire door resistant to 60 minutes fire in accordance with BS476 Part 22. 1987 (DS 1052.2).

Since 1 November 2019, fire doors have had to comply with the new European standard EN 16034, and thethe previously used fire classes BD30 and BS60 were replaced by new EI230 and EI260 fire classes. However, fire doors primarily for personnel access are not yet covered by the new European standard and may still be supplied according to the national standard DS 1052.2.
Yes. DAN-doors' Fire doors are supplied with food approved seals and materials suitable for the high hygiene standards of the food industry. At the same time, the door is insulated with 50 mm fire batts and 15 mm gypsum boards, which create an efficient insulation performance and help reduce energy consumption.
