Large bulletproof and fireproof door

Sometimes the most impressive qualities are invisible to the eye...

This is not an ordinary door.

And although at 4.5 x 5 meters, the door can be described as "large" compared to the standard sizes for hinged doors, it is not the size that is of interest.

What makes this specific door exciting is its purpose - and the construction details.

We were asked to make a 4.5 x 5 meter bulletproof, fire-resistant door, and here it is.
It may not look much different from our other doors - but it is.

The core of the door is made of bulletproof glass and the total weight is close to one ton.
