AVR1001F replaces AVR0801F

Rising energy prices increase demand for energy efficient High Speed doors

For logistics and wholesale companies working with frozen goods, there is a particularly large potential to save - a lot - of money on energy consumption by minimising the cold loss that occurs when the gates between warehouses are opened during goods handling and the movement of frozen goods.

The ideal door solution is efficiently insulated and has a lightning-fast opening and closing speed, which both reduces cold and heat loss to an absolute minimum and optimises traffic and work flow between halls. At the same time, it is equipped with intelligent automation that reduces opening time and improves safety for employees by adapting opening intervals to truck traffic, so the gate opens on time and closes when the truck is safely through.

The new High Speed door from DAN-doors provides the market with a solution that meets all these requirements - and then some.

We invest a lot of resources in developing solutions that help our customers optimize and streamline their business," says Kim Jensen, Production Manager at DAN-doors. "This door is specifically designed to replace existing solutions that either require an additional investment in a night door or lack the speed to be an effective solution.

The door is equipped with a 100 mm thermo cloth insulated with PE foam, which cannot absorb moisture and prevents cold bridges.

We've set out to create a solution that meets several of our customers' key needs," says the production manager, and continues, "Normally you get either a fast door or an insulated door. Here you get both. This means that customers can simply invest in a single unit instead of two, where there is a need for both fast opening speed and freezer isolation. Also, it's a very high quality door. We've tested it extensively, of course, and it's been on a long-term test at a customer's site, where it's been in one of the harshest environments it can be exposed to.

And there's one more detail... The door's patented slat system is extremely hard-wearing and durable, withstanding hard impacts without a problem. It's modular, so should it be damaged after a particularly violent impact, customers won't experience downtime and it can be repaired in a very short time.

The new AVR1001F provides 25% better insulation than the existing AVR0801F, which is being discontinued from the DAN-doors range.
