20th anniversary of Frosten

2004 was the year the TV series Friends ended after 10 seasons, and it was the year a very young Flemming Frost started as a fitter at DAN-doors.

10 years of working in the same place

For the first 10 years, Flemming worked at Velux's head office in Østbirk, where he installed DAN-doors' doors and gates in their administration, production and warehouse, and since then he has left his mark on many buildings throughout the country.

Great variety in tasks

In the 20 years Flemming has been installing DAN-doors' doors and gates, a lot has happened to both DAN-doors' solutions and the world around us. 20 years ago, Flemming was primarily sent out to install steel doors, fire doors, roller doors and sliding doors. Today, DAN-doors is a total supplier of doors and gates for all types of industry and business, which means that there is a significantly greater variety of installation tasks. In 2024, the tasks also include installing fire curtains, smoke ventilation, glass partitions and insulated roller shutters, and they are often equipped with advanced automation that must also be integrated.

- "There's a big difference in how the different solutions are installed," smiles the jubilarian. The construction of fire doors, fire curtains, smoke ventilation, profile doors or insulated roller doors, for example, is very different, and it just adds spice to everyday life when it's not always the same.

As a colleague, Frost, as he is colloquially known, is very well liked. He is a friendly man who meets the world with a smile, and it's always a pleasure when he visits the office in Skanderborg. With his 20 years of experience, he is also a really skilled employee, and we appreciate that he is always flexible and ready for the tasks, no matter where in the country or the north he is sent.
