DAN-doors signs contract for Campus Ås in Norway
DAN-doors has signed the contract for the prestigious new Campus Ås project, the largest expansion of the university sector in Norway.
The new building consists of eight connected buildings with around 2400 rooms. The buildings include a laboratory, animal hospital, aquarium and other specialised areas of veterinary equipment for research, diagnosis and treatment of animals.
Good building engineering solutions and advanced technical installations ensure that the high infection prevention requirements are met. They also ensure good working conditions for those who will be working, researching and studying here.
Initially, DAN-doors will supply 400 steel doors for both interior and exterior use.
In addition, DAN-doors will also supply sliding doors, High Speed doors and fire curtains. Some of the fire curtains are of gigantic dimensions, as they are up to 18 m wide and 4.3 m high, which means that they will cover an area of as much as 77 m2!
In chill and freezer DAN-doors will deliver 35 hinged doors in stainless steel. The delivery of the doors will take place during 2018 and early 2019.
